Ever heard of Camp Calumet? Camp Calumet in Freedom, NH is my favorite place pretty much on the whole planet. If you were drawn to this page by some connection to Calumet, you know exactly what I mean. I met my wife at Calumet, wrote a lot of songs at Calumet and made some of my best and longest friends at Calumet.
If you have some connection to Camp Calumet, you probably remember a lot of good times. Wide Games, Snack Bar, Yellows, ACNO, Basketball against Camp Cody? Remember "old style orientation", SAVE YOUR SPOON! Remember the wall? Remember when you could smoke at the wall. Remember when you could smoke? Remember when you quit? Good Thing!
All these memories live on in thousands of peoples brains around New England, the US and the world. If you are reading this, chances are you remember some of these things. Consider yourself not just lucky but blessed to have had the chance to experience Camp Calumet. It is a miracle on earth.
