Liner Notes
Hi and thanks for listening to my music. All 12 songs on this CD are written and performed by me. While the final production and recording is good, this is not a fancy Sunset Boulevard record and it isn't meant to be. This music is more simply who and what I am. My intent is to present these songs the way they sound in my head and how I perform them live. I've added some additional instruments and rythyms, but basically these songs are meant to sound a little edgy. There's a minimum of effects and fancy production so hopefully you can close your eyes and imagine we're playing live in your living room. That's it. Grab a beer, a glass of wine or un grande cafe noir, (black coffee), sit back and enjoy.

Sluggin' Fool, @ 2003 John Ozelius
Fast ball coming, pitcher's throwing heat, Try to hit a ball you can barely see,
Keep your head together, waiting for your chance,
Two strikes down keep your head in tight, Swing nice and level, hit it deep in right,
Hustle round round the bases for a two bagger RBI
Chorus
Running round the bases like a Thorobred, Swinging for the fences in those sox of red,
Playing every game to win when your twelve years old,
Don't you klnow he wants to be a sluggin fool, Strong as an ox and stubborn as a mule,
The boy just wants to be a modern day Babe Ruth.
Crack of the bat, no standing around, Heading down the line, with the roaring crowd,
Your hit keeps rolling down into the gap, Next time up, the ball looks so fat,
You stand and watch at the crack of the bat, That ones gone and its never coming back.
Chorus
Don't you know every kid thinks they're gonna be the man,
Like its easy as pie, like waving a hand,
You gotta have a dream, and you gotta have some game
Hit the ball a country mile you'll never be the same,
Fast ball coming, pitcher's throwing heat, Try to hit a ball you can barely see,
Keep your head together, waiting for your chance,
Next time up, the ball looks so fat, You stand and watch at the crack of the bat,
That ones gone and its never coming back.
Chorus to end
Goodbye
@ 2003 John Ozelius
Oh Babe, its coming to a stop,
We move in and out , we never even talk,
It must be something about you
I never know what to do,
Its driving me mad I can't take it no more, goodbye
First you smile, then you slap my face,
I try to love you, through all of your ways,
You never show me that you care, You always have me running scared,
Its driving me mad, I can't take it no more, goodbye,
Sometimes people say, some things they don't really mean,
But you can count on this girl, I really splittin this scene,
Good luck from her girl, I'm on my way,
I really don't think, I've any more to say,
I;'ve summd it up before
I don't need or want no more,
I've had enough, I'm saying it now, goodbye.
